Robot on Fixed Pedestal
A pair of robot arms on traveling pedestals moves up and down a 30’ section of modular tables to weld various frames. When the tables are bolted together end-to-end, the precision hole pattern is perfectly lined up over the entire 30’ length. When the robot is not being used, the tables can be used as stand-alone work cells for manual welding.
Fixture Highlights
A 3-D table at the far end is connected to a pair of 2-D baseplate tables
Custom locating jig plates and toggle clamps are adapted to fit onto tables
Parts can vary from 1’ square up to 6’ wide by 30’ long
