Robot with Rollover Fixture

As an alternative to a single spine rollover fixture, this setup features a pair of modular face plates with twin beams connecting the head and tailstock. The weldment that is fixtured between the beams is exposed on both the front and backsides enabling the robot to completely weld the part in one setup. The beams can be easily repositioned for other size weldments on future jobs.

Fixture Highlights

Modular tables are attached to the head and tailstock face plates
4000mm (13 ½’) fixture blocks are connected between the modular tables
A series of locating bars and clamps suspend the weldment in the center
Pre-tacked parts or loose pieces can be loaded into the same fixture
