Most homemade tables or generic welding tables have a limited worksurface size. Modular tables allow for an unlimited expansion all directions (x, y & z). A cable tray manufacturer found that by bolting two small tables together and adding outriggers off one end, they could weld parts twice as long as they had anticipated when they originally spec’d out a fixturing system.
