Tool Box
Getting things square is important in welding. For quality toolboxes sold to craftsmen, squareness is critical to the look and feel of the final product as well as its function. The opening for the drawers in this fixture is controlled by the precision of the cast steel angles and the exact location of the bores in the table surface. This assures that the sides are perpendicular to the face and parallel to each other.

Boat Hull Stringers
Multiple welding tables can be joined together, face to face as seen in this modular fixture. Several parts can be fixtured at the same time, providing easy welding access. The bulkhead for a sleek ship is presented in a convenient attitude for proper welding. Telescoping legs are included to allow adjustment of the table height to accommodate the part geometry and different welder heights.

Beauty Salon Chair
This beauty salon chair is attractive at any angle. Made from square tubing and sheet metal, the cut angles must be right. Using the system’s precision adjustable angles, it is easy to check the quality of the stock before starting to weld. If the angle of the part doesn’t match the fixture, the part needs to be fixed before welding can begin. The fixture provides an in-process gauge for checking parts before the first arc is struck.

Banquet Chair Frame
Robots have been adapted to welding short runs. To speed the process, parts like this chair are pre-tacked. This fixture includes an adapter plate that is common to a number of different style chairs. It locates and clamps the two legs to the upper body. Several tall angles reach up to fix the spacing on the legs and to accurately locate the adapter block.

Scissor Lift Framework
Sometimes it is more practical to weld sub-assemblies before the final assembly. Parts for a scissor lift include requirements to align parts bore to bore. Special alignment shafts to match the bores are located in the fixture with v-blocks. As an interesting aside, scissor lifts are also used with our tables to compensate for tall and short welders as well as dealing with tall and short parts.  For the longer final assembly, angles are mounted to the sides of the table as outriggers.
