Race Car Frame
A tubular steel frame for a custom race car chassis is fixtured for a manual welding operation. The fixture is designed using all standard modular components with the exception of six custom locating blocks used to pick up the connection points on the ends of the tubes. Modifications to the fixture can be made in on the shop floor in minutes should the design of the chassis change.

This fixture for a sheetmetal toolbox is designed with U-form blocks bolted together as a base to allow access for parts to hang down beneath the surface. A variety of different height legs can be added to bring the working surface up to a comfortable height. This setup can also be mounted on a rollover fixture using a common head and tailstock design.
