Hardening options are included on all of our tables, angles and blocks to protect the system from spatter buildup.  The plasma nitriding process we employ has been perfected over the years to keep the tables from distorting while still yielding a 55 Rockwell (c-scale) surface hardness.   The majority of our systems sold today are delivered in a hardened condition.  However, even older customers who originally purchased their systems before we offered this service can send their older tables to us for hardening to take advantage of all the benefits. .
