This
undercarriage for a steel coil carrying rail
car uses over 400' of floor-mounted rails installed
to 0.020" accuracy. Tables can be accurately
positioned anywhere along the rails by simply
bolting down the four feet with our standard PC
Bolts. What better way to make a large fixture
simple!
Multiple
tables joined together or a single table with long extensions
bolted off the end provide a solid, accurate base for
these heavy-duty weldments. Frames come out of the fixture
square within 1/32" over 20'. Available with short
legs (as shown here) or standard legs (32" floor
to work surface), tables can be made to fit any height
When
a solid table is just "overkill", a set of
U-form spacer blocks can be joined together
to form a custom worktable. This custom
fixture incorporates some unique hydraulic
and pneumatic clamping features to speed
load and unload times.
