Laser
cut and formed sheetmetal may seem easy to put together,
but without a decent fixture, the individual pieces will
never quite fit right. Demmeler's sturdy flat table (0.002")
and perfectly square angles (0.002") makes squaring
everything up a breeze.
Not
only is your cash safe in these heavy-duty vaults,
with the Demmeler system being used to construct
the boxes, every bill will fit perfectly inside.
When the box is finished, a few clamps are loosened
and the entire assembly lifts right out of the fixture.
CAD designs are used to document fixtures for future
reference.
Location,
location, location. Not just important in real estate,
but also in assembling the framework for an AGV (automated
guided vehicle). These angles are set and bolted down
within 0.005" to ensure a square frame is maintained
throughout the welding process.
Manufacturers
are continually trying to speed up the production process
yet keep costs down. Some sheetmetal assemblies lend themselves
to a "tab and slot" design whereby everything
snaps together without the need for a fixture. All too
often though these "tabs and slots" are too
loose and some basic squaring angles are needed. The Demmeler
system is a great fit for this type of application.
