Orders
for obsolete parts can be a headache. When an order comes
in for a 30-year old part that no longer has a welding
jig, or where the jig has been modified, a modular fixture
can be quickly assembled. The part can be welded in a
matter of hours, cutting the lead time for the customer.
Some
users have found that Demmeler not only works well in
welding, but also in the inspection department. These
sheetmetal components (cab, car door) are setup with standard
Demmeler hardware to be inspected with a CMM (coordinate
measuring machine).
