These
useful tools are most commonly bolted to the sides of
the tables to provide a fixed edge locator when squaring
up a part. Of course, with the slots built into most of
these stop bars, they can also be bolted down to the top
of the table and slid into place. Because every stop bar
has at least one hole, they can all be used to hold other
elements like a v-block, toggle clamp, swing clamp or
even a specially designed locator that would plug into
a bore. |
