Flat
plates with the Demmeler standard hole pattern are available
in a variety of sizes and functions. The larger plates
can be mounted on a positioner for manual or robotic welding
applications. Smaller plates, with a special hole pattern
added, are used to align the bolt hole pattern in a pair
of flanges. And the smallest of plates are commonly used
as a custom locating piece (customers will machine a locating
detail into these plates and then attach them to the fixture
as a normal modular element).
